We’ll start with a light and refreshing welcome, featuring crispy Pizza Grissini and a zingy Lemon Granita served with EVOO and salt flakes to awaken your taste buds. PRIMO:
You’ll learn to make a delicate Fresh Cheese paired with a vibrant Sicilian Orange and Fennel Salad—a perfect balance of bright and savory flavors.
SECONDO:
You'll master the art of (vegan) Italian Stuffed Peppers, complemented by a rich Cauliflower Cream, tangy Marinara Sauce, and the classic Sicilian dish, Caponata, a sweet and sour eggplant stew that’s simply irresistible. (I'm here to tell you there are probably zero vegans in Sicily, but so many of their dishes are vegan or vegetable based!)
DOLCE:
We’ll whip up two traditional Sicilian desserts: Soft Almond Nougat, a crunchy, chewy treat, and Torrone Semifreddo, a creamy frozen delight that will transport you straight to the Mediterranean.
Join us for a fun-filled 2 hours of cooking, laughter, and Sicilian flavors that will leave you craving more!
We will have a gift bag full of goodies for you valued at over $30 with lovely pressies from Great Southern Groves, Risen Flour For My Earth Murray River Salt and Herbies Spices. There will also be the necessary tools available for purchase for the fresh cheese and nougat specifically, plus when you make a store purchase, go into the draw for a bottle of wine!
